This tarnished silver amulet pulses with a faint, unsettling warmth, as if it yearns to be used. Once per day, a wearer of 5th level or lower can attempt to cast Greater Restoration, but at great risk. Upon activation, the user must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, they take 1 level of exhaustion for every 5 points they fail the DC by (minimum 1 level). Even on a success, they still gain 1 level of exhaustion.

If the user rolls a natural 1, they must roll on the Wild Magic Surge table as chaotic magic tears through them. Only a natural 20 allows the spell to be cast without any consequences, but the amulet crumbles to dust afterward, its power spent and no longer able to tempt the user.
